Job Description

We are seeking an entry-level Document Controller in Leominster, MA. As a Document Controller, you will be responsible for maintaining and controlling the integrity of company documents and records. This role is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or someone with basic administrative experience looking to start their career in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. Schedule is Monday - Friday Hybrid schedule 7:30 am - 4 pm

Key Responsibilities:

* Maintain and update company documents, records, and files in accordance with company policies and procedures

* Ensure all documents are accurately labeled, stored, and retrieved in a timely manner

* Assist in the development and implementation of document control processes and procedures

* Coordinate the review, approval, and revision of documents with various departments and stakeholders

* Maintain version control and ensure that all documents are up-to-date and compliant with regulatory requirements

* Provide support for audits and inspections by ensuring that all relevant documents are available and easily accessible

* Perform data entry and maintain accurate records in the company's document management system

* Collaborate with team members to identify and resolve document control issues

* Participate in quality improvement initiatives and suggest process improvements

* Perform other administrative tasks as required

Requirements:

* High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in Business Administration, Library Science, or related field preferred

* 0-2 years of experience in document control, administration, or a related field

* Strong organizational and time management skills

* Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records

* Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook

* Familiarity with document management systems and software (e.g., SharePoint, Windchill) is an asset

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

* Ability to work in a team environment and maintain confidentiality

Preferred Skills:

* Experience with quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001)

* Knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards (e.g., HIPAA, GDPR)

* Familiarity with scanning and indexing documents

* Certification in document control or a related field (e.g., Certified Document Control Specialist)
